GILROY PREMIUM OUTLET, CALIFORNIA
Gilroy is located 30min drive south from San Jose (ROUTE 101) and 45-min North from Monterey (Route 1).
In this post you can check several transport options to the OUTLET and basic information.
Unfortunately, public transportation to Gilroy can be a problem, specially if you don’t have much time.

145 OUTLET STORES like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Coach, Gap Outlet, Hugo Boss, J.Crew, Lucky Brand, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Sony, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger and more. South of San Jose.

It may look “small” compare to NY Woodbury (220 store) or Orlando (180 stores), but it’s the largest in SF area.

HOW TO GET FROM SAN FRANCISCO TO GILROY

1) CAR drive 90-min from SF to Gilroy, route 101 towards San Jose.

2) TOUR Outlet Hop (888) 483-5566 (Fare 2013: $75) – private bus service tour

3) BUS Greyhound Bus (about $25 per ride, $50 round trip – 2 to 3 hours, depends on transfer. Schedule: best time 12:50pm)

4) PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

From San Francisco to San Jose:

Take Caltrain to San Jose. Buy the ticket at Vendors, machines or booth. Zone 4. Fare 2013: $9.00 One Way. Trip takes about 1 hour at Express line (300 Baby Bullet). You may take Caltrain at 700 4th St., San Francisco (south, take Lightrail F). Vendors: Tazza D’Amore (M-F 6a-7p; Sat 8a-3p), Subway sandwich, Bow-K Flowers, Warm Planet Bikes.

One-Way Caltrain tickets grants transfers to Gilroy bus transportation (But Day Pass does not).

From San Jose to Gilroy:

Bus 68 (free, transfer with Caltrain One Way ticket) http://www.vta.org/routes/rt68. Trip takes about 1:45min

Express Bus 55 Amtrak Thruway Bus (MST55) http://www.mst.org/wp-content/media/55.pdf. Fare 2013: $12. Schedule Weekdays: 7:55am or 1:45pm. Trip takes 50min to 1 hour.

GreyHound Bus: $12. Schedule: 8am or 2pm, Trip takes about 40min.

From Gilroy Bus Station:

Take bus 14 (free transfer with Caltrain One Way ticket or $2). It stops in front of Gilroy Outlet
